My name is Helena, and I’m the founder and owner of LEAN BY LIEN – a health and wellness brand built on a balanced approach to creating lasting lifestyles changes.
LEAN BY LIEN was created to help you become the very best version of yourself, and crafted from my own love for health, wellbeing and self development.
I’m passionate about helping others create a life in balance - one where they feel strong, happy, and confident. My biggest drive and mission is to make the journey toward a stronger body, a healthy mindset, and a nourishing diet both inspiring and achievable.
My Journey
My work as a personal trainer, coach, and nutrition guide grew out of a genuine passion for supporting others who dream of building a healthy, balanced life. A life where exercising, eating well (and without restriction), and practicing mental well-being are the norm.
Growing up, I wasn’t into sports or fitness at all. A year at a gymnastics boarding school when I was 15 was my first real encounter with an active lifestyle. When I later began strength training in high school, it was entirely driven by fear of gaining weight – a mindset that wasn’t healthy or sustainable. But everything changed once I began to feel what training actually did for my body and mind.
I found a way of moving that was fun, challenging, and motivating – something that made me stronger, both physically and mentally. My love for training grew as I noticed how my chronic headaches and back pain disappeared, while my strength and confidence in myself grew.
From this experience a clear wish came to mind: to help others find their own joy in movement, build a healthy relationship with exercise, and create a sustainable approach to wellness.
Why “LEAN BY LIEN”?
To me, the word lean has always been synonymous with strength.
I don’t believe in right or wrong body types. The ideal body is the one you feel most at home in. For me, that’s a strong, functional body that never limits me. As a personal trainer and coach, my goal is to help you discover when you feel your best in your body – and create the framework that supports you in achieving that.

To me, training is about so much more than physical fitness. It’s about energy, confidence, mental and physical strength – and the freedom to feel at home in your body.
As a coach, I get to combine my own experience with the transformative power of training and my professional knowledge of health and nutrition. My goal is to meet you where you are and guide you from your current starting point to your goal – whether that’s weight loss, increased strength, or building a healthy lifestyle that lasts for life.

After nearly five years of experience and thousands of hours spent with 1:1 client, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the challenges that often prevent people from achieving the life they dream of. The barriers that keep goals from becoming reality often repeat themselves – whether they’re mental blocks or practical obstacles in daily life.
My approach to lifestyle change has consistently led to long-lasting results for my clients. That’s why I offer 1:1 coaching focused on mental strategies, goal setting, habit change, and implementing these tools into your everyday life.
Each coaching session is tailored to your unique needs, starting point, and goals. Together, we’ll create a plan that helps you take the steps toward a balanced life – with results that last.
My qualifications
I’m a certified personal trainer with the following background:
EREPS Level 3: Certified Fitness Instructor
EREPS Level 4: Certified Personal Trainer
I hold a Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Global Nutrition and Health from Copenhagen University College. This education gave me a broad understanding of health, nutrition, behavior change, and lifestyle transformation – forming the foundation of my work at LEAN BY LIEN alongside years of practical experience in coaching and training.
Over the past six years, I’ve coached and trained clients from all walks of life – from CEOs and professors to students and retirees. My greatest strength lies in meeting you exactly where you are and supporting you successfully on your path toward your goals.
